Board Members : Megan Barbier

Megan (Streifel) Barbier joined AWM in 2000 and served as the Programming Chair for several years. She is currently a Board Member at Large, focusing on the strategic development of the organization and serving on the Membership Committee.

Megan received her undergraduate degree from Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business. In 2000, she completed her MBA degree at Loyola Marymount University with a double emphasis in HR Strategy and Organizational Behavior. She holds a Group Benefits Associate (GBA) certificate and is currently pursuing the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation.

In her professional life, Megan heads up the HR function for a health technology company in Palo Alto. Previously, she worked for a risk management firm, consulting and designing benefit programs for clients. She is an active member in SHRM, as well as the local Silicon Valley HR Women and Friends group.
