Board Members : Karen Chi

Karen Chi has been involved with The Association of Women MBAs since 2005.  She is currently holding the Vice President position for The AWM.  As a woman MBA, having graduated from Wharton School of Business - University of Pennsylvania in 2000, Karen is passionate about fostering friendships among women through AWM.

Karen is a Real Estate agent with Keller Williams Realty. Karen was the #1 producing agent in 2005 and a top producing agent in 2006 in terms of GCI (gross commission income), sales volume, and number of units sold with Keller Williams - SF Properties which consists of 200+ agents. 

As a home owner and investor herself, Karen is passionate about helping clients sell and purchase their homes and investment properties.  With her strong analytical skills Karen helps her clients maximize their financial potential.  With her interpersonal and negotiation skills, Karen helps clients get in contracts with minimal time frame and for the best value.  With her managerial skills, Karen makes sure that all the contracts close timely and do not fall out.   Karen is a realtor who is ethical, dedicated, hardworking, and always on the look out for the best interest for her clients.  Karen has contacts with the best lenders, lawyers, contractors, accounts, stagers in town and she would happily refer those helpful contacts to her clients.

Karen focuses on residential real estate in San Francisco Bay Area.  Karen has a team of realtors and administrative staffs to ensure best possible service to her clients.  Karen is a leader and a mentor to many agents in her office.

Before becoming a realtor, Karen Chi had 10 years of corporate career in marketing and sales working for AT&T, Bell Communications Research (now Telcordia), Lucent Technologies, Hewlett-Packard, Siebel Systems (now Oracle), and PeopleSoft (now Oracle), where she held her last corporate position was Director of Industry Product Marketing.

Karen’s degrees include:

• MBA (Master’s in Business Administration) from Wharton School of Business – University of Pennsylvania
• BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
